My 30 day OHT challenge
on: March 03, 2020, 12:15:25 AM
Day 1 photo

Have been wanting to use this OHT that LoopCutter gifted me a while back...but I committed  myself to a couple of Challenges so it was only backup. This month is free so I will be doing this one by myself.
Thanks LoopCutter  :hatsoff:
First day back at work was paperwork, new phone, drug test, and physical. All good! No uses today untill I got to the Pastors home and took care of the apple!

I bookmarked this thread to follow your progress and maybe offer encouragement my friend.

I was curious about lodging as I did not think the van was completed.

Enjoy the OHT, it seems to photograph better in the southern sunshine!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Late day again, so this will be a hit and run...running to eat dinner!  :tu:
Rain, rain, rain so a photo from the inside...then I need a tool so had to stop off at a supply house...and my 3rd call for the day was by Six Flags in Atlanta!

Great pictures!
I can imagine the challenge to get back into a rhythm working and assembling your tool kit for tasks.

Being prepared for the weather can be tough as well, even just a couple hundred miles north.

Enjoy

Thanks LoopCutter, Poncho and Hevy
Rain expected all day today
The work rhythm was easy to get back into because I do like what I do. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be working even the part time.

Good luck on both your new job and new challenge! :tu:

Since I do not own an OHT, I'll be rootin' for ya and living precariously through your experiences from the sideline!  :woohoo:

(BTW, nice pictures, and patina on your OHT)

Day 4 photo

My gosh nothing but more rain! Tomorrow is a break and the weekend is sunshine expected! Saturday will also be a trip to the local knife store! See what goodies I might find! First thing I will be asking is if he has a Leatherman Mini! Only use was an apple and had finished it off before I remembered to take a photo. Just a shot in the coil cleaning truck.

Day 5 photos

Had a meeting this morning at IHOP and the OHT was handed around...even the Gerber crew was liking it
A quick shot at work as I had 9 RTU’s to clean before I could leave...did a total of 11 RTU’s for the day between 2 calls.

Your putting the OHT through it's paces there Ray.  Look'n good.  I'll be watching with interest.  I never quite got the hang of mine, I'm spoiled to twenty + years of Swisstools and the OHT is just SO different.  I know the work your doing and it can be fun.  I'm the Texas HVAC contractors liscens holder for my company, but I still prefer working on my hot food equipment over hvac.  Most people seem to be just my opposite when given the choice.  It's allways good to see someone take pride and enjoy their work.  Oh and the Wife and I will be visiting Georgia over New Years to celebrate or 25th anniversery at MT Laurel ( about 45min N of Atlanta) where we spent our Honeymoon .  It's BEAUTIFUL country filled with BEAUTIFUL people.
Look forward to following you and your OHT.
