Post pics of your SAK can opener in use!

Post a pic of your SAK can opener in use!

I was gifted an interesting can of honey from Tasmania. Seemed like the best way in was via a SAK can opener. Luckily my camo One Handed Trekker was close by.

I then decided to double-down and pop open some tuna for lunch tomorrow.

I cannot believe we have not had this one already.

There have been hours of debates on the CO: Forward vs backward - Wenger vs Vic - Love it / Hate it - Easy to use / Can't use it
Come on folks share your (war) stories and experiences and tell us your preferences

The CO is probably the tool that has had the most dramatic developments and also one of the a biggest difference from Wenger to Vic
On that topic - You may want to take a gander at this

I'm Vic guy but tried the Spartan can opener and I can only give it an OK... not good.
So I get the first Wenger for my collection and the opener is different, sharp looking!! So I guess a Test part 2 is in order......

Clever uses would be good too - I'll have to look for a good place to use the 'bionic thumbnail"

Maybe I just need to lay this SC (Strange Champ) right in front of a tin can which then opens itself without any tool use. THAT would be strange!

I was a backwards, counterclockwise, right handed kinda guy forever.  Just for fun I went the opposite way yesterday with a 91mm - right hand, forward, counterclockwise.  I'd say it was very easy to do , not fiddly in the least.  As long as you have the angle correct it zips right around.  I'm going that way from now on.   :ahhh

I have a Wenger with the combo tool. It opens cans pretty well, if not as quickly and cleanly as the Vic can opener. It works clockwise. You should try it.

It’s a crappy photo, but I’ve found the can opener works great on certain hose bibs. It’s actually the one reason I don’t carry my Electrician. I like to find creative uses for the CO👍
