Day 1 (of 3) off   :drink: and no real need to go out so, I didn't (lockdown 'n' all that)

Not really any need for anything larger than the Squirt PS4  :multi:

Lots of capability with the Squirt.   :like:

If not wearing my normal loadout I sort of feel naked? :dunno:

And not in a good way either.

Are you also carrying a SAK/folder along with your fixed blade?  I ask because maybe the habit of reaching for the folder is what is making you unsure?  I realize a fixed blade is limited vs a SAK in options.  I like to carry both and tend to use my fixed blade to do the bulk of cutting.  I use SAK for detail.

I was, thing is that whenever I reached for the fixie it was apparent that the SAK could have done the job just as well and with what, a couple of seconds delay to open it? Like most of us, I've tuned my carry for my needs, a 91mm SAK is perfect for my uses so a fixie simply doesn't add anything for urban use. Would be different outdoors of course, um, perhaps, I don't do bushcraft with a capital B.

Right now, the HEDC is pretty close to the regular EDC. Don't really use much of it, mainly the scissors, file and small blade.

Executive + Nitecore Tube. The Buck 110 is for the April's Fool challenge. It's been doing most of the food prep around here.

Cheers, mates! It's full range, from the minimalistic SAK to the 1-pound built-like-a-tank folder.

I'm not sure what week this is. The kids have been out of school a month now. I've been alternating working in the office and working from home. The wife's office is closed, and has been home 100% since mid-March. And we're in the middle of packing up our house for a move - most of our stuff is packed up and ready to go for Friday. We haven't been out of the house in a month, really. Can't go anywhere with people. But, we get out for bike rides, play catch with my son, parents and in-laws are both five miles away, so we've been there. And go shopping once per week, in more or less full on PPE. I've alternated between a SAK Moneyclip and Executive for the last couple weeks. Haven't used either much, because I've been putting stuff in boxes, rather than taking it out. Nail file on occasion.

Not much difference here as most - still use my Tool Chest Plus, although I did get a new pouch for it. Mostly in the SAK line, been cleaning and reconditioning my collection. Your would not believe how much junk, dust, and dirt get into those things. A good sharpening, and a dose of Vic Multi tool oil and things are ready to roll.

I'm a stay at home dad anyway, but not making daily trips to town has cut way down on what I carry. Around the house I carry just a SAK (or slipjoint), light, and wireless earbuds. The wallet, watch, keys, pen, and hank live in my dump tray and are retrieved as needed.

Being military, I still have to go to work, albeit on a drastically reduced schedule. However, I carry heavier at home usually than I do at work since I am largely office bound at work. Since being home usually means building barns, fences, pins for various creatures, or clearing trees, I like a heavy-duty tool that I can get the pliers out easily at a minimum. Lately, I have been carrying my SuperTool300 in my Skinth, accompanied by Style CS, and my little Leatherman flashlight. My other option that I like is my Gerber Center Drive. When I get back in the house, though, I usually drop the tool.

For reference, my modded MP600 rides along in my backpack while I'm at work.

Sounds like a capable carry.  Thank you for your service.

At home I've been carrying Trad, light AAA, and either 58mm or 65mm SAK.

Still the same. Just upgraded the lanyard from paracord to leather.

I agree on the making of something yourself its the it looks nice that I struggle with .  Here are two kits I put together that I reach for when I'm home.  One sheath I made and one I found.

Well... for me it doesn't make much sense the "home EDC" concept. Maybe "home EDU" as in "Use"...

Since i'm at home most of the time, i don't really "carry" anything. I'll have a Climber at hand if i specifically need any of it's tools (blade, scissors), otherwise i'll just use my (huge amount of) dedicated tools of course. Why use a SAK tool if i have my actual tools near me...?

When i go out (seldomly) i'll carry a Pioneer these days, cause i can easily soak it in alcohol to disinfect, and not worry about messing up the scales  :D
