Gutting blade comparison
on:
April 03, 2020, 08:35:57 AM
Which is better in your opinion? The gutting blade on the rangergrip 54 hunter or the smaller serrated blad eon the original 111mm hunter?
Which is better for breaking down a deer or similar?
Which has better overall utility?
Thanks!

I don't have a Hunter 54 but I've had a 111mm Hunter for years. And for a utility blade it rocks. One advantage of the 111mm is the serations.
Here's a test I did of the gut hook on the 111mm Hunter.

Possibly worthless reply from me as I only have the original Hunter, but I do use the curved serrated gutting blade for its intended purpose and have never found it lacking.
