Just received this one in the post from a good friend of mine who is back into collecting watches.Automatic 32 jewel movement with exhibition backthe dial has a secondary 24 hour windowat 12 o'clock and the date at 6 o'clock.Double lock clasp on bracelet and screw down crown.Haven't done any accuracy checks yet but will do so over the next couple weeks. The quality seems to be very decent although I have no comparison as this is my first Russian watch.The only down side was the band needed an extra link which I had to make as there was no spares with the watch.Not perfect but it will have to do until I can get some more stainless steel stock.
Just curious as to whether anyone has any experience,good or bad with this brand.

I don‘t have a Vostok yet, but they were recommended to me in another topic. I might give them a try eventually. For the price they are selling, it‘s worth a shot. Let us know what you think after you wear yours for a while

I've been wearing this now for about 5 days and the one thing I have noticed is it is running about 4 minutes slow per day.I'm not sure this is easily correctable but will find out when I get to see my local jeweler.If anyone can adjust it he can.Other than that I really like it.

Wow, 4 minutes per day is waaaay too much. I could life with 1 minute per week, but this is unacceptable

Might be as simple as setting the heartbeat right with the escapement spring, or might be something way more difficult.
A professional will find that out for you.

Furthermore, I've only heard good things about Vostok.

Waiting on an Amphibia. Ive been researching Vostok watches for many weeks and it seems to be they are a finicky and quirky watch movement which owners find to love about them. It sure seems the movement adjustment described by Mechy is the most common repair for accuracy issues too. I can’t wait for mine

I can probably live with the inaccuracy as my two Breitlings(an 806 Navitimer and an 1809 Chrono-Matic)run a bit slow so I'm used to resetting the time.Strangely enough I have a replica Breitling for Bentley that is automatic and keeps better time than any automatic watch I've ever owned...except maybe my Omega Speedmaster moon watch.
