Assemble your own SAK
on: April 15, 2020, 07:02:07 PM
The Victorinox flagship stores sell this kit, it comes with the opportunity to assemble it into your very own Spartan on one of those fancy rigs they also use in the factory. If you’re ever in London or near any other Victorinox store I can highly recommend a visit.

A couple of years ago I built my own Spartan and decided to buy an extra kit to frame. The framing hasn’t happened yet, but it sure would look cool on the wall don’t you think?

That’s a great idea for all the leftover parts I’ll have after building all the mods I have planned.

Very much so. Maybe with an assembled  Spartan with all the tools on display below it ?
Please post a pic of the framed artwork

The box is so well presented that I'd have a hard job assembling the parts! It would look great framed.

That’s a great kit - forgot to ask about one last time I was in the London store....

I haven't seen any one in the stores on the Main Land. Neither, Köln, nor Luzern, Brunnen and Ibach have these kits. They told me they're outdated.

It could very well be discontinued, that’s too bad. This one was bought in 2013 according to the engraving on the Spartan I built at the same time. I could have sworn it was more recent.

I know a collector who's got this kit for sale.

I was thinking to pick it up for framing myself :D

I've seen someone do it before. He got a frame that fits perfectly from Ikea.
