After owning a handful of automatic Seikos I've settled on a Casio MDV106. I believe most people would consider this a downgrade, but this Casio is one of the best values on the market. Quartz doesn't have the soul that an automatic has, but its more accurate in my experience. And after the sticker shock from having turtle serviced I'll stick to $8 batteries. It's prone to scratches on the crystal, but I'm willing to overlook that considering its price point.
