Leatherman sharpener?

Anyone know if this is a Leatherman accessory? I think is a sharpener! Any info will be appreciated than you!

Leatherman sharpener?

It’s definitely a diamond sharpener. I had one very similar to that one a number of years ago.

This is indeed a diamond rod. The came with some of the hunting knifes of leatherman like the klamath or the Nehalem. Both these knife are quite hard to find. So are those rods. Very nice find.

This is what a complete kit looks like. I got very lucky a few years back and found this Steens online  here in NZ for the equivalent of $45US.
Needless to say very much a shelf queen.

$45 NZ? Wow. That’s a major steal. These go for $500+ in avg condition! Congrats :drool:

I’m in a similar situation, hadn’t heard of them until late last year, well after then had stopped being manufactured. I’m not a hunter so I’m not sure they would have made sense for me practically; but since when has that stopped me before :rofl:

I saw one of these (can't recall the exact variant, just that it was one of the old leatherman knives) in a store about two weeks ago, I didn't care enough to check the price. If they're really that rare I might swing by and see what they had it for.

Not something I'm ever going to use myself, but I'm a sucker for rare....
