Actually, cats do have another trick up their sleeves:They have a parasite (Toxoplasma gondii) that when it infects a rodent, makes them fearless, even makes them like cats (and seek out cats)... and here is the kicker that parasite infects humans too (it is estimated that around 1/3rd of the population is infected). Studies have shown that infected humans take more risks and are less fearful... and if anything then the internet has shown us that we love cats.Pretty much explains how cats can get away with being smurfholes
The good news is that the infection is temporary. Most of that 1/3rd were infected in the past and are not currently infected.Cats get away with being smurfholes because they're so cute
