Been into flags for a while, which lead to me reading the US Flag Code
To be precise "4 U.S. Code Chapter 1 - THE FLAG", what I found particularly funny is §8
If I think of the USA, I think flags everywhere, but apparently, the Flag Code thinks otherwise

"The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. "
Guess the knife companies didn't get that memo :D

Good thing the US Flag Code is non-mandatory and not enforced... because there is more:
"It should not be [...] printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard."
"The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery."

Feels like the Flag Code is a real party-pooper
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.
