Thanks to this thread my wife now thinks I'm a nutter.  ::)  Just as a bit of fun I thought  I'd have a look around the house and see what i could put together in an Altoids PSK.

It could be worse.. I took a Dremel to my tin and took all the paint off. I wanted a clean silver tin. Didn't want to advertise Altoids, and I rather despise logos. I take them off most anything.

So... my wife walks in to me Dremel stripping a candy tin. Nice. No amount of explaining was going to matter, so I ignored her and just continued.

She does not mind my obsessions and preoccupations for the most part, and my kit has proven handy to her on numerous occasions. So this is just par for the course to her I suppose. Nonetheless, she does think I am cracked. But she knew this from day one.

Nice kit BTW! I like the red theme.

I just dug up a Peli. 1010 , you industrious types have inspired me to put one together . So far I have decided to use a Cadet as a PSK knife , use a Jetscream as a whistle , and carry a ferro rod , a mini Bic , and lifeboat matches . All else is up for grabs .

I'd add some of those small packs of these:
Moist towelletes,
Neosporin
 antacids
aspirin
and a few bandaids

Possibly an over the counter antihistimine could be handy . Here in Canada , bug juice could make your life a whole lot brighter .

Agreed there. Here in the Ohio Valley, any number of things can pop up to ruin your day. Another to consider is adding something like a Signature,Manager,or Mini-champ. Scissors can be handy, and you you get a writing instrument, and it never hurts to have an another blade..all in a compact package.
