Day 1.  I slipped this silver-scaled '57 in my pocket today, but it didn't see any action.  Here's a couple glam shots:

Day 1

I'm tired. Just finished the Nessmuk challenge and was anticipating a break when I noticed this. Kind of snuck up on me.  No guarantees I'll make it for 30 days but at least I can start nobly with my only OC, an Electrician that belonged to my father.

Day 2

Courier arrived with a new pen case and a travelling inkwell - my Elinox OC pioneer did awlsome work on a surprising amount of tape used in packaging them up! Then the main blade was used to remove the cellphone wrapping.

Some very nice Old Cross knives are being posted! Today, I use my Old Cross to take the grills off some vintage speakers that I'm repairing

Time to get this party started!

Day 1

Just some light post duty for my OC Solo branded for Brown, Boveri and Cie:

ASEA, BBC, and finally, ABB seem to have been one of the more prominent clients of Victorinox in terms of ad knives.   I've seen several. I have a BBC Tourist (with the BBC logo inlaid in the front, and the back scle with a print commemerating a big project they did in NM in the early '80s--and I've seen prints for other undertakings as well) and a modern ABB Tourist in Ruby Translucent (ABB print on back scale). That knife is dated 2013 (mold mark on scale), so presumably, it is the one they're still using.

ABB has a facility building transformers in a nearby town, so I do collect their various ad knives. Gonna start looking for a job next year, and if employed by them; I'll be carrying one of those ad knives with me at work.

Day 2: A much-missed feature of the OC era is the scraper edge on the cap lifter. This just touched-up a pencil point.
