It works like a champ. Just make sure you buy the “doors and windows” formulation. The standard stuff can exert enough lateral force while curing to throw a door or window frame out of true.
Thanks for the tip!

Day 19 - I had a  busy weekend making apple butter, the Old Cross Pioneer got to assist with some apple peeling and then helped close out the weekend opening a nice home crafted brew from a friend.

Day 19

Chairs in off the deck and leaves off.  The OC was there, but did not participate.

Day 19

I thought that I was done with the bathroom cabinets, but Mrs. Tet decided the doors needed a bit If an adjustment.

Day 19
Long days for me for the rest of the month so it's likely just going to be pictures of lunch for the duration.

Day 20

A quiet day, only some post opening- main blade on the OC Pioneer does the job - must give it a quick hone!

Getting Day 20 kicked off with an old cross on a modern SAK (a small cheat?).

A bit of a cheat, but as it’s you, Myron, I’ll not object!,  A lovely knife that Swiss Cheese Marketing Board knife - shame you can only get them in Switzerland, though I have seen the horn handled version with the same cross available at the Vic store in London - have managed to resist so far......

Day 20: Cut open a packet of instant coffee with the awl.  The awl should be a standard tool on all SAKs!

:iagree: I’d convert more of my SAKs to inline awls (replacing small blade) if it was not for the cost of the donor.

Max, would it be possible to put an inline awl from a Pioneer in the place of a small blade on an Explorer?

Sure! I’ve just done the one build taking a Pioneer awl and replacing the small blade on my Telluride build. It’s not a direct drop on, but not difficult to rework for 91mm.

Love the Cheese knife Myron!

I'm not ready to see snow! Where are you munsonhsr?  I know up here they've had some out west, but not where I am yet.  I've heard that Friday is supposed to be nice enough for one last boat ride with a friend.

Bonus Pic - I got a new bike for Father's Day and contemplated picking up the bike tool, but decided it was too much $$ for what it was.  When I saw it on Amazon the other day for half price, resistance was futile.

Southeast Minnesota.  Some of the trees still have leaves left.  A mess. Cheers!
