Fine, I didn't get the Ultra fine on balance, as I want it as a field toucher-upper if you catch my drift

[/quote]It all depends on how long a lunch break you've got to touch up your blades I guess

But I've been using a fine grit DMT in one format or other for at least 10 years, and probably longer, and it's always managed to put a hair popping edge on all kinds of blades

I think an ultra fine one would be a tad excessive for field use, so yeah I'd vote for fine
