Have you watched Happy Death Day? :pok:

I really liked this one but have you noticed that there are even 2 versions of it out there that are different too?

Both are really well done and of course Jessica Rothe too!

Another in the same sort of Genre is

Before I Fall

which is also pretty clever really and stars Lea Thompsons daughter who is not too hard to look at.

Ok, the Mrs and I are lost, we watched X-man, dark Phoenix,
This takes place back in the day, the Phoenix is Jane, and as any x-man fans know both professor x and magneto picked her up from her family’s house in I don’t remember which movie, it’s when she does something and Stan Lee is outside doing yard work, yet in this movie only professor x picks her up as a kid(I won’t say how) yet another thing is raven is on the x-men’s side since their all young but something happens and I don’t want to give to much away, but there’s no way she can turn to Mystique? So if you don’t follow any of the other movies it’s pretty good, but if you do then things are just out of wack..

We got HBO free yet there’s not a freaking thing on, so after cleaning the snow off the sidewalks and then cleaning the house and freshening up what do you watch?
After thumbing through all the movies for over 20min, screw it!

“The Dead Don’t Die” with Bill Murray, Adam Driver, and even Danny Glover! “Suppose” to be this funny movie about zombies, well, we kept watching it expecting it to get better and then the end came, ABSOLUTELY do not watch this there is no point to it I give it like a -2 out of 10, as much as I hate scary movies especially old ones, and love movies I’d freaking watch both the Shinings, and even the freaking titanic all in one day before watching this movie again!!

I watched that while I was on a long haul flight, most probably would know this is a B-rated movie from the trailer.  But even being a B-movie enthusiast, I think it is just so-so.

I liked it enough.
Many don't really like this type of ironic humor though so I get it too.

I thought the idea was OK in the 2nd but hard to top the original too!

It’s a comedy and dumb as heck, I mean after the first the whole movie it turns over to Burt and how uptight and prepared he is with all his military gear, well besides the one where it goes back in time where he’s a sissy, i mean in 2017 they made April 14 Burt gummer day!
I mean it’s not a bad series if you have absolutely nothing to do all weekend being so many and you need a good laugh because your going to be going OMG you idiot :twak: :twak: :twak:
But it’s not like the Olympus has fallen or White House down,

Mandy  3/10

I seen a lot of good 'reviews' on this film, so I did come in with a high expectation.  At first glance, I thought it was another cool B-rated Movie, like Machete.  Turns out it was a total 'art' film, and 40+ min in, it was just a few people walking around, dreaming and murmuring to each other.  It was eerie with all the heavy filtered light in red and empty forest shots, but definitely opposite to what I expect of it.  3/10 because the way they film it, and I could see how film students would have appreciate how it was filmed.

I really liked it but I am a sucker for a newish clever idea in a movie too.

Cliche sub plot or two but most movies these days have those too.

I had low expectations but it was pretty entertaining. Lady driving is rude to ole Crowe and she gets his full wrath all damn day.

TENET  6/10

Watchable, but slightly lackluster in action. Guy has to save the world from bad guy with futuristic , material altering capabilities. Big, tall blond with 80's Brigitte Nielsen vibe.  ::) ::)

Gerard Butler getting his fam to a bunker in Greenland. It's slow and painful to watch, much like Geostorm.

Yeah it’s cartoon but it’s good, for those who’s watched them as a kid it will put a smile on your face! I was giggling throughout the whole movie, I’d totally watch it again!

Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan  9/10

Based on a true story: 108 Australian and New Zealand troops held off 2000 North Vietnamese during the battle in Vietnam in 1966.

One of the best war movies I have seen. It seemed realistic and was refreshingly un-Hollywood.
Nothing over-the-top, just showing the battle as it transpired.
Maybe even a 10...

8/10
Great tension, and the effects were fantastic throughout. Solid performances by all. A few characters were a little bland, and the story may be predictable if you watch similar films.
There are a few plot holes and errors that I saw, and I am not a scientist.
Still, very enjoyable.

:iagree: I really liked this too, seen it a couple of times, same with John Wick 3 you mention above, all of the JW's are good  :like:

Been going back through the Jason Bourne movies over the weekend, they stand up well.
In some ways my favourite is The Bourne Legacy, without JB in it....some great chase scenes, the one on the motorbike in Manila is superb
