Agree, although I get both types in one dog.  Fisher will sometimes wake me up early so he can go sit in the sun in his window.  But fortunately if I decide to then nap on the couch, he will often join me.

By far and away, Molly's favourite place is sleeping in our bed.  Stays in her own space until 5-6am, jumps up with us and then sleeps until we get up.  She can get awfully grumpy if we get up too early for her liking.  ::)
