Sadly more rain forecast.  Not the torrential stuff we've had already, but enough that I suspect it'll not dry up any time soon.

Wow, just googled it and apparently that’s a thing….think you’ll find that’s news to all Australians, we just call it licorice (as you’d expect I suppose), it’s the same as you’d find in the UK too

Oh yeah! Australian licorice isn’t long shoestrings like twizzlers, there only like 2” short stubby pieces, but normally fatter, yet I’ll tell you normally once you try it you won’t go back to the normal stuff, yeah it’s short and stubby but their normally soft and chewy, and PACKED with flavor, after having one of you try a normal say a twizzler, you’ll notice their hard to break and are like a wax with very little flavor,! I used to get mine from a special candy store, OMG it was amazing, I gave a coworker a piece cause they loved twizzler and they were shocked! I will admit some places don’t have that great of a supply sometimes it’s hard and lacking in flavor, but the other day I went to a dollar store and for $1.25 a bag got the strawberry, watermelon, and a apple, wasn’t to thrilled over the apple, the watermelon was good, and strawberry was pretty good,  you just don’t get a lot in a bag like the 2lb bags of twizzlers, there normally smaller then 8oz, if you want I’ll take a pic..

Twizzler is like a McDonald’s compared to other family chains, it’s one of the largest manufactures of licorice compared to little family operated manufactures and Australian licorice, just isn’t popular up in the 50, twizzler has different types of licorice, like a pull and peel, ones where the center is full of the flavoring as far as flavors go they even have not only the black licorice, but they also have chocolate, they’re well-known throughout the US but there’s other small chains that other states won’t know of because it’s only offered in where it’s manufactured, like one that I tried that I never heard of, and after two bites, I threw the whole bag away because I was like nope, not my flavor, it’s taste was just wacky, yet in the state that is manufactured, it’s one of the highest rated licorice! You just basically grow a taste for it, it was the same for one of the sodas that another manufacturer sells we are asked a friend to pick up Ginger ale for our kid because he was sick so she picked up one that she grew up with and when the kid tried it he didn’t know if it was him or the drink so he had us try it and when we tried it we were like no it’s the drink not you!
But yes, I like my Aussie stuff!!
