Roscoe resting up from knee surgery a couple weeks ago. Wife found him in the road middle of the night back in February . He was a tiny puppy. He weighs in now at bout 60 pounds.

Sounds like a smart pup

Fisher has his bells, but he also has figured out tapping.  His water bowl is metal so if it needs filling he will tap to get attention.  He also will tap on the shelf where we keep his shirt if he wants it.

It was only once, and I had just took her out just a little over an hour before, but she did it so I took her, the funny thing is when it’s pressed it’s my recording so it says, “Dad, I gotta go”! Dex doesn’t look too thrilled about it, he’ll just ring the bells, of course he thinks if he rings it and gets me up that then I’ll feed him, so if he walks into the kitchen and then stops by his food dish rather then continuing to the back door he’s hungry, and I’ll have to look at him and :rofl: it ain’t dinner time, go lay down!

Cute pic of Sam,, I might have to put a sweater on Rosy cause the windchill was down to -1°f this morning,

 We had beagles for 15 years , nose to the ground and they are gone. Now we have one rescue mutt mix, one i found at work small terrier mix and Roscoe (mix?)  my wife found in the road coming home from work one night in February . Little puppy turned out to be hefty!

Thank you, both Dex and Rosy are rescues and both mixes, the one dog we had before was also a rescue yet was a purebred golden retriever, he was so mistreated and yet they taught him how to jump and one day he jumped when the owner was in a bad mood, so they asked their neighbor who was a friend of ours to have him put down, and well, I got a phone call and the Mrs got a puppy,, our two cats are also rescues, heck our cat before them was also a rescue.. I swear all of them were/are so happy to be given that second chance and just fit the family.. Rosy is still trying, we’ve had her for just over a year but she must have had a really rough puppyhood, she’s also scared of fireworks, which we just had because of the next town over for Xmas, so she’s under the bed, and now I have to take them both out for the night so hopefully she’s ok,
