Durapro Pocketpro Multi Tool
on: May 09, 2020, 05:53:04 AM
I just bought this monstrosity.  I've never seen one before.  The frame is a normal Durapro Pocketpro.  Turn it over and it reveals multi tool implements. Pliers with wire cutters, knife, filet knife, file with a large screwdriver pry bar tip and a wire stripper notch, saw blade scissors, and a huge awl with a bottle opener. Also included is a sheath with 12 quarter inch driver tips that go in the magnetic holder at the tip of wrench. Super heavy at .88 pounds you would never pocket carry this tool.  Almost so ugly it is cute.

Despite the weight certain parts look vulnerable to buckling or bending during use.

Still, I want one.

Could you show a photo of it next to a 3/4 ton Ford pickup truck so I can get some idea of its size?   :D

Might be a copy. The Durapro Pocket Pros I've seen appear to have much thicker metal for the handles.

Yep, I've come to the same conclusion.  It doesn't have Durapro on it at all.  It does have Pocketpro on it, but not written in the unique Durapro style.  Almost assuredly a unique knockoff.

I'd like to see the pliers a little closer. They don't look like the standard chinese pliers of that type, they look more robust. At least from the grainy pics so far :)
