nothing that should affect you has been changed

we added more CPU, RAM and Storage (and cost), otherwise it's the same as before.

Probably no help, but Safari here on OS-X El Capitan, IOS 12.whatever and IOS 11.whatever, and no problems today or recently.

I could not select topics via Chrome on my iPhone at approximately 11:55 AM this morning.  After about 40 minutes I was able to access.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I've been having up and down accessibility too these last few weeks.
Using Tapatalk, but using browser on the same moment doesn't help either.

You know how long I've been having the same issues. Usually just switchung from wifi to mobile connection works. And I also had trouble connecting yesterday and the day before.

The reason for using Tapatalk is that I am a reasonably active member of over 20 forums, guns, knives, motorcycles, home engineering, diy etc etc. Tapatalk allows me one touch access to every one of these forums. Pinging in and out of browser tabs would take forever. It’s also a much cleaner and faster platform.

Have noticed some lag when navigating around the site the past few days in Chrome. Sometimes it kicks me to a chrome error screen, sometimes it will eventually load the page after 10-20 seconds of delay, sometimes its fine.  :dunno:

It would appear not Ws.

I have had problems on and off for a few weeks now. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, so neither rhyme nor reason  :dunno:

I have tried several browsers when it goes wrong (FireFox, Chrome and good ol' I.E/Edge) to no avail.
A few weeks ago it was so bad I just gave up completely  :crash:

I susbsequently became aware that I live with Mrs Surge (she seems nice)
They don't like it up 'em!

Facing the same issues both through Tapatalk and via Safari from time to time physically connecting from Ukraine, so the problem exists

some days ago some slowdowns might have been due to me purging some stuff, and then regenerating the search index (which took over a day to do)

but that shouldn't be the case anymore, and we have as mentioned bumped up our server to the next level resources. Perhaps a restart is in order...

For me these occur fairly regularly, say every 2-3 weeks. Out of these, I would say more than 50% of Tapatalk failures I can still access via browser. On many of the failures I can still get as far as the list of forums but then selecting a forum will just result in the spinning wheel of death. If it helps, it’s the only forum on Tapatalk that I am subscribed to that this happens to. Usually if a Tapatalk forum fails to load there is no partial access.

This! switching from one network to the other tends to fix the issue every now and then.

Been running stable these last few days though.

server stats seem to reflect it running well, and we are no longer running low on disk space or maxing out the memory, which was the case before.

I have to admit the search function works great now.
Lightning fast and no more wait time between searches :woohoo:

I wanted to find some mall ninja posts from about 2 years ago for the entertainment value and I wasn't disappointed :D
