2 knife tin sets.

I found these the other day and brought them home, One is a Remington tin set, and the other is an Old Timer tin set.

Yup, I especially like the smaller knives.

I have the Remington set. I got it a few years ago as a post Christmas clearance item. I think I only paid $7.00 for it! I really like the look and feel of the larger knife!!  :like:

Even though I avoid the imported Remington (whose Chinese offerings are now, for the most part, the former Buck 37X series after Buck got the contract from Bear and Son) and Old Timer knives, I have a hard time passing on them for the very low prices like Mike mentions, and have a few Winchester sets, mostly.  I also tend to get one or two for Christmas every now and then. I typically use the knives as beaters, and use the tin as a valet.

I like the Remington set a lot. I think my Tractor Supply had it the year before last. The lockback looks quite nice.

The Sharpfinger is my favorite fixed blade. I have the gut hook version of the USA model, the 158OT. Have never tried the imported one. My luck with Chinese Schrades has been very bad.
