I have two, and I agree, this is a pretty one.  Was part of a holiday set, and wish I bought one of each style back then.

Wish Buck would produce a USA model of the Canoe.

Thank you for comments

Buck Ecco

Top to bottom:

Ecco small, made in USA
Ecco small, made in Japan
Ecco large, made in Japan.

There are quite a few minor differences between Japan-made and USA-made, e.g. the liners are of different metals.

The first I got was the small Japanese knife.
I used it on my job for about two years.
The other two I got much later, new old stock as they say.
I like the Ecco so much that I had to have them.

I agree as well. Good sized blade and for the $35 USD each I spent on my 2, itd be harder to find a nicer traditional blade.

It'd be hard to find a better knife. Full stop.

JMHO, but, of course, I am right.   >:D
