I've been watching auction postings on Pocket Sockets for several years waiting for a decent price. I finally found a set. U.S. Patent. 3,187,610 by Charles O. Russman in 1965. Four different socket options on each wrench. It appears the Pocket Socket only came in two sizes. Klein and Malco still make these, but in one size only.
These are similar to can sockets, but much better.
