I'm surprised that the Power Plier is still here... it's one of my favorite SOGs!

Same here - I switched from a Poer lock to a PPP a year ago and it's now my EDC most of the time.
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !

Maybe you need a Power Plier to go with your Pocket Power plier  :)

Congratulations Dave- the PowerPlier is a discontinued model that I really like because of it's blunt nosed pliers.  It feels like you could take apart a Sherman Tank with it!

I must admit, I have been intrigued by it for a while. You may have noticed that I'm experimenting with a few different brands lately, now that there aren't too many LM tools to go after.

I have the Powerlock, and I've got your Switchplier for a while at least, and I'm coming to the conclusion that SOG make some good stuff. I'm also interested in the Paladin electricians MT - that's a SOG in disguise isn't it?

I used to come here a lot.

Paladin Tools are indeed made by SOG, but SOG won't discuss them.  It's a contract made thing for Paladin, and if you ask them for any info on the line they insist that you speak to Paladin.

SOG is a great brand.  They remind me of my Jeep in a lot of ways- not fancy, not comfortable, no frills and lots of rattles, but tough as nails, goes anywhere and does anything.  Leatherman is more like the old Chevy trucks that were indestructible but also somewhat more refined.

Is the Power Plier, different to the Pocket Power Plier?

Did I maybe even just invent the Pocket Power Plier?

The pocket power plier is smaller than the power plier.  It is the smallest MT in the comparison Pic I posted earlier in this thread.  It has an angled plier head and holds less tools than the power plier and powerlock.

Glad your package made it ok
