My other victorinox zipper pull came in today, so I quickly took a few pics with the black one I got for Xmas, and the red one that just came in, I figured the red would go better with the red FarmerX, what do you think?

A medium, fits like a freaking glove! Slides right in, but when it gets to the very end is a tad snug but you really don’t have to press it, just gravity doesn’t work it! Very smooth!

Yeah, I had to do some research on that, med, large? Idk?  :ahhh And normally there’s always something a little off with a Zermatt, but this one was like spot on! That was until this morning when I went to have the Mrs take the pic, I rolled the shirt up and got it behind the sheath, and well, I think there was a glob of brown wax, because where the shirt was tucked looked like I got chocolate all over! Other then that perfect!

Enjoy! And don’t forget to post pics! I think it’s the perfect fit! My only worry is since mine is red theres the back of the button and over time the ware of sliding in, unlike if it was silver,, all I know is I’m keeping the shield side to the back so the button won’t hit it, as far as the combo thanks, the only thing that’s getting to me is that zipper pull is hitting the side of the sheath as I walk.. kinda annoying..

I have an XL and an L Zermatt and those are virtually the same size oddly enough.

As for the scratching button, how about putting a small piece of medical tape on it? That should keep those scales nice and free of scratches.

I have the same two, and like you say pretty much the same, I was pondering with the idea of felt, oddly enough the Mrs bought me a huge amount for Xmas because it was in a wishlist from waaay back, I’m talking years, when I was doing a few projects, but hey, it always comes in handy!
She got a few things from a tv show(supernatural) one she’s watched from the very beginning, and it just ended, so the kid bought her a few charms and the license plate of the car, lol, she ended up ordering pics of the car and the actors and I told her we have a large frame, we can put the felt and lay everything out in the frame to make a little collage, so after we make this I’ll see about taking a small piece of scrap and maybe hot gluing it in the sheath?

Felt would work too I’m sure. Some of the older LM leather sheaths have felt stuck over the rivets.

For a similar issue I used a small dot of moleskin. It’s soft and the adhesive is super sticky. Check the foot care section of any department store or pharmacy.

I finally gave in and ordered a Farmer X  :facepalm: :D

I always liked the Huntsman, but I have mostly grabbed Alox lately (besides the Ranger). And since the Farmer X is basically a Huntsman Alox (besides the backside tools which I am not a fan of anyway), I finally gave up resistance and clicked the buy button.

Isn't there a Farmer X challenge coming up as well?  :think:

And it really is a Huntsman on steroids. I was afraid that it would be too heavy, considering that I don't like the PX, but it is great. I can't explain it either. The PX is too heavy and I don`t like it, but the heavier FX is fine  :think: Logic 0 : FX 1.
