Poplite battery mod

So I have this fantastic little guy:

And the only think it's missing is being rechargable instead of needing to buy and toss batteries regularly. So I'd like to work out a battery alternatice that I can recharge, currently it runs on 3 LR44.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can pull this off? Please and thank you!

Merit Badges Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. For each of the 30 days, or for as many as you are able to, post a picture of: Progress- Meals- Activities- Gear and participate in the thread and encourage each other. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Only for the 14th year Anniversary Challenge. Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month.

im not sure does 10180 li-on will fit, its about same size as 3xLR44 and its rechargeable.

It fits but the contact area isn't large enough up top, my first thought was to expand it with some folded up tin foil cut to size, but I have no idea how horrible an idea that might actually be  :dunno:

Is that battery flat top or button top

It works wonderfully! I cut out a little circle and it works just like the LR44s, there isn't even any battery rattle from the difference in diameter, very happy with it!
