I was just going over the Gerber Summer catalog I'd gotten in the mail a couple days ago, and noticed a new, American-made fixed blade, the Principle. I liked the overall design of the Spine and Vertebrae, but they were imported. These days, I'm trying to avoid that. Plus, unlike those, the Principle allows a ton of carry options. I am going with horizontal, due to the fact that when going vertical, the sheath tends to hang up getting in and out of equipment. Ruined two Mora stock sheaths getting out of the UTV, hanging them up on the grab rail beside the seat getting out.

Plenty of carry options as well, in the box. I'm going wtih horizontal. The Gerber I had my heart set on was the LMF II ASEK; but that's too big for 99.5% of what I need a knife for.
