That is amazing. One thing is the number, but the fact that you organize and display your tools is proof of some real dedication. Well done, sir

Thanks. It was a lucky find. Here it is with a bit of ultrasonic cleaning and a bit of Remoil application. The water was quite dirty in the ultrasonic cleaner.

That's a great deal Chako. Can you tell me, was there a slight change to the scissors between the Ti and the Charge plus TTi? I thought i read that the scissors changed a bit to allow for the revised plier with replaceable cutters. Thx

That is correct. The scissors on the older built in cable cutters have the thumb tab larger. It is much thinner on the newer plus model. Frankly I find the older scissors more comfortable to use personally because you have a greater surface area to make contact with.

"... I thought i read that the scissors changed a bit to allow for the revised plier with replaceable cutters."

I cannot confirm that theorie. The pliers are similar in size and the following examples from my collection have identical scissors   :salute:

Thanks all for the responses. Sorry Chako for the misspell.

I read that someone modded the plier of an older Ti to have the + style removable cutter plier head. The tool wouldn't close, and the consensus was the scissor (due to larger thumb tab). I cant find the thread, and it m9ghtve been on FB, I can't remember. I tried to confirm with my Ti dated 06, but the scissors are the same as my son's 2022 TTi +. However there's been warranty work done so i cant be sure scissors are original. And on my 2011 TTi the scissors are also the same as my son's new TTi.  I have spent some time looking over threads and photos and couldn't confirm. I'm an amateur collector, but I'm sure this group can relate when I say, "imagine if we got paid for the amount of research we do on these MTs"? We'd be rich (or have more tools)...  thanks gang

Are those original or have then been worked on via warranty or modded

I have noticed there is a difference in scissors. Mind you, I am uncertain about when the change occured. Currently at a VEX IQ competition. I will look at my copies in greater detail and report what I  find with photos when I can.
