How can you take leatherman seriously when they start releasing tools in pastel colours!

Are they intending on releasing a line of pastel coloured pouches too!

And there was I aughing at Victorinox with its rainbow themed Alox line

LMAO

But that’s the difference between being a moderator and having to be pc
Whereas I a mere member can say what I feel.( isn’t that the idea of a forum )

Each to their own Poncho, I admit I have little time for LM these days. Once I had respect but too many flaws, too many cheap improvements has left me thinking it all went south when Tim took his finger of the pulse. Now It feels as it’s a case of take their money and give them smurf.

Just sayin

It takes a lot to impress me, especially when you know it can/could be better, but laziness and greed prevent it.

By all means bull it up, but don’t expect everyone to fall for it.

That probably comes across too brash, but credit where credit due is how I live my life. Not simply applaud every new release -  that’s just been gullible - exactly what LM are wanting. No Ta

You can say as you wish but take others into account when you do so :salute: If for nothing else it is common courtesy :hatsoff:

I was a member here long before I was a moderator and I do know how this place runs and I know that we should show each member the kindness that we think we deserve back. So before spewing off about something try to look at the positives and not the negatives about each situation

That’s fair enough
I’ll take that on board
 :tu:

But, I can’t help feeling the forum is developing a kinda “insta” vibe , which quite frankly is nauseating to say the least.
The constant likes and appraisals is getting tiresome - hence why I took time away.

As for LM, almost 40yrs down the line and still they haven’t produced a tool I could confidently keep at all times and know it would deliver. Yet they introduce a range of pastel shades!!!!

That just about sums it up for me.

I am praying that LM puts out a Charge + G10 in a similar green or safety yellow.

I believe that diversity is important on these forums.

I still do not have any of the Free lineup...nobody sells them locally. I suppose I will have to add them sooner or later.

The colors look nice...but this is coming from a guy that bought the full Tomo lineup.
A little Leatherman information.

If nothing else, give the T4 a chance. I like the stoutness of the tools and it has been my Go-to for weekend EDC.

The K-series is too large and I haven't found a cheap enough P series to try out yet when my Rebar works just fine.
Work EDC: LM Raptor/Bladeless Pioneer X Mod

Weekend EDC: LM Free P2 or Vic Pioneer X/Vic Rambler/Olight I1R EOS Pro Ti/ Atwood R37Pry

These days I focus on collecting oddball Pharmacy/Medical Advert Victorinox Classics.

I only have a T4 as well and it is a great carry when I do carry it  I have my Charge knife that beats it out but of course a mod that I built for myself is likely going to fit me better than a factory anything :D

I was thinking of getting the light blue one for my little girl as it is even the right shade of her favorite color :D

To be fair, I’d like to compare a T4 to a regular SAK
The T series reminds me of wengers titanium line.

Now that you mention it I might do the same, guess what color my doughter picked for her room? And mobile case?

[It's not failure if you learn something from it]
