Of late I'm beginning to think that I've been wrong to look down my nose at the oft-maligned fish scaler.  I have no desire to use one to actually scale fish (cleaning the knife afterward would probably be miserable), but its utility outside its original intended function is very much in the spirit of the Swiss Army Knife.

Well done!

Totally irrelevant, but I couldn't find a coin for the shopping trolleys the other day - luckily my kid had left a wooden Magnum ice-cream stick (well, a pile of them) in the back of the car. I selected the least sticky and stuck it in the trolley's coin slot, and voila! The trolley was mine. This made me feel like a real safe cracker, liberating a shopping trolley with a lolly stick.
Of course, I had sticky fingers for the rest of the day, so I don't recommend it.
