Does anyone have any info/pics of this model? Just wondering if anybody's carried it and how they liked the toolset.

I haven’t used this particular one before, but I have a different Evo model. I dislike the scales on them, they are unnecessarily thick.

The scissors are different than the Vic ones. You either love them or hate them. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground on those.

I have also heard that the lock lever catches on stuff and gets in the way. Haven’t used one with a lock blade myself, so maybe someone with more personal experience can chime in

How are the wood saws on the Evos?

Thanks sir vicalot! I have this one on the way and I'm so excited to get it Tuesday I want to see if anyone else has bought it lol. I was seriously considering the S557 but I figured the can opener can turn a Philips and I don't really need that little wrench, but when you need a saw you need a saw!  I carry a Handyman for the most part right now, I don't mind losing the file because this one has a nail file. Tuesday can't come soon enough! :ahhh

I own the Evo28 and the Evogrip S54 and I like them both very much.

I like the shape of the scales, and love that they are a bit smaller as a 91mm Victorinox.  The knife lock on the S54 only gets caught while pulling it out of one of the 3 different sheaths I have for it, the other two sheaths don't have this problem, and it's also not a problem when I pocket carry it (hanging on a dangler on my belt, as I do with all my pocket carry Saks).

At least, that's my own personal experience with them.

Here's a pic from the Evo28

Here's a pic of one of my Evogrip S54's:

Well, I got a S52 some time ago. I only got one, so it never gets used and is still in the box it came in...

I know... I might be able to use it some day, since it's not a special/limited/discontinued edition.

I have some of those but, no matter how many copies I have, I can never use them.

I am very partial to the Delémont EvoGrip 18 myself. I have 2, 1 for EDC when I need to carry a SAK.
