Sheeps' foot
on: August 03, 2020, 03:25:54 PM
....actually just a broken 2.4mm blade that I couldn't bear to chuck away re-purposed into a kind of anti-Compact!

Also works as part of my campaign against the standard opener layer....by removing them completely!

I feel other versions of this coming as and when parts turn up..... ;0)

You need an awl for an anti-Compact.  That said, can't beat a sheep's foot for scoring jobs.

:iagree: It's true and as soon as a saw back spring that will accommodate one is available in my bits tin it almost certainly will have one.

I did exactly the same with a mp600 I got for peanuts of eBay a few years back. The tool itself looked hardly used except for the broken tip on the blade...boy was it cheap!!
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Looks pretty good. You could actually get two blades like that in a mod if you pull the spacer.

I like it!

I really really like this blade shape - would love to get a full length one in there somehow but that would probably mean making one from scratch. I have a WWII Belgian army
Knife with marlin spike which has a sturdy sheep’s foot blade. Maybe I’ll try to recreate that but in a SAK carcass!!
