Removing Logo From Polyamide Scales On OHT

I bought a lot of five unused knives today pretty cheap which included a Victorinox OHT with a logo. I've removed logos before with sandpaper on Cellidor scales with not much trouble. Is it the same process for the Polyamide scales?
