Same to you! I took this photo for the challenge I hosted last month. The SAK is a Victorinox Farmer, and the tractor is a 1:16 Ertl John Deere Model D.

Valtra 70 years special T. Only a model I’m afraid and a spiffing 4020 from Ertl

:like: The 4020 looks to be from the Precision Series. Those are some impressive models, yet I've never been able to fork over the money for one.

The box says 'prestige'. Not sure if the same as 'precision'. Very nice model though. I would've liked one in 1/32 but I was buying the 70 yrs Valtra and Fiat Centannario at the same time so this found its way into the virtual shopping basket..

In any case, my changes of ever owning a real 4020 are slim at the best so 'haps my model can be a bit bigger ;)

G'Day,

Saw this old David Brown 30D at a cider distillery last week. Lovely piece to photograph, and the pizzas were fantastic.

I was launched from my kitchen seat to childhood when I read the name Ertl! My gosh it’s been years!

ERTL is still booming. I own a fire truck by them. TSC (tractor supply company) sells Ertl 1:64ish scale tractors.

Check your implement dealerships as well. Mine sells the premium adult-focused  ranges that most feed and general merchandise stores don't, as well as a pretty decent range of carded tractors and implements in 1:64. . My Tractor Supply has pared things down over the years to where it's the loose models called "Collect and Play". When they opened in 2006, the selection was pretty good; now 3/4 of what they have is Christmas-only; and even that is considerably less than what it was in years past.

Speaking of that, chances are, the ERTL stuff put out for Christmas is now 50% off; so now's the time to buy what you wanted in October, but didn't. I picked up a Breyer horse just this past week. $40 on the box, marked down to $25; and used a $10 reward to get the horse for $15.
