Tinkered with Alpineer (lock removed, replaced with scales from a Soldier I ruined the blade on when I tried to remove damaged serrations) and a pair of older Cursor Fendt promo models. While often pricey in Europe, US sellers don't want hardly anything for Cursor models. They were largely produced as promos, and are all diecast.

Cursor had LM-style 4-digit date codes that served as catalog numbers. I think these denote their design date, as opposed to the real production.

1:43 scale Fendt Farmer LS and a Geratetrager (GT) Tool Carrier. Fendt LS was launched in June 1977, while the GT was launched in April 1978.


Also bought a Mercedes G-Wagen, also from Cursor, in this same bender last year. Cursor's specialty was advertising/promo/salesman sample models, and they were made to order. The Mercedes is slightly higher detailed, and the doors open, seats fold forwards, the steering wheel tilts, and the top is removable. It also has a trailer hitch.

The design date is June 1979.



There is a rare version in a THW livery produced for Marklin, along with a gorgeous Mercedes wagon emergency doctor unit, that was sold as a part of a Marklin1 gauge train car. I hope to be able to find both, but I bet they'll be pricey.

I have less than $50 in these three. They're all heavy, well detailed, quality, and the Merc even has a movable steering wheel, removable top, and folding front seats!

Yes  :hatsoff:

It is a Mercedes Benz "Bremer Transporter" and numerous array of Avias. Avia was widely used and in fact the only small truck built in Czechoslovakia. Originally it was a license production of French Saviem/Renault Super Goélette which has been further developed until 2000s. I am really surprised Avia is known in Japan  :cheers:

Meet Red Dust, my '89 Sportside, with 350 TBI, moon gauges and all other not-so-liked details of an early GMT400 ;)

GMT400's and GMT800's were quite popular down here and many are still on the road, some working hard, some as hobby/fun trucks. Lately it seems that Ram 1500 and F-250 are elbowing in heavily and General is loosing ground.

All in all the pick-up market down here is dominated by Amarok, Ranger, Hilux and other Japanese makes
