Thought I'd finish the challenge off strong with probably my favourite spydie to carry, the Sage 1:

Day 30

I bought my first spyderco just take part in this challenge and quickly expanded my collection because I like them so much.

I was hoping I'd have finished the challenge with the Heinnie Haynes UKPK I ordered,  but they are severely delayed due to the current state of things around the world so it didn't make it.

Congrats to everyone who completed the challenge.

Will do. I got an email yesterday to say they are unsure how long it will be but I can have a refund if I want.  I want the knife so I'll just wait.

The Ladybug helped open a bag of Triscuts and cut some flower stems.

Considering it is the last day of the challenge, I thought I’d also include a glamour shot of my Delica a d the SAK will be going back in the pocket

Day 30. Finishing out the challenge with some mail opening. I swore off Walmart long ago, and it completely went off the list when COVID got started. Due to the fact, Kmart went under in 2016, Magic Mart in 2018, and Dollar General just having 1-2 year old Matchbox batches; Walmart was the only place I could even hope to find the more recent stuff, which was the only reason I still gave them business.

A member on another forum offered to pick up most of what my 2020 list was at his cost; and so far, this is what I have. A couple are Hot Wheels--I do collect a few of those.

Barry --

Thanks for organizing a fun challenge.

I really enjoyed having the Millie in my pocket for the month. (It fell back into my pocket this morning...)

There were a couple days where the Millie seemed a bit large, but that was probably because I don't use a clip and was too lazy to dig out a caddy.

Otherwise, the Millie was great.

To my eye the blade shape is inelegant and awkward. Nevertheless, it performs really well. The blade and edge geometry is great. Give me function over form any day. The S30V steel took and held a great edge for the month. I stropped it a couple of times, but it didn't need sharpening. Didn't really need stropping for that matter.

I didn't do anything abusive with the Millie, so I'm not sure I tested out its 'hard use' claims, but it feels solid and was great for all sort of routine tasks. It does better in the kitchen than any of my other folders. I think as far as performance goes....the Millie is my personal champion.  :tu:
