Day 19

One of the legs of my tripod was too loose, so it collapsed every time I tried to set it up. Good thing I had the bit adapter with the right bit on me, and was able to tighten it.

Fall colors are getting real pretty

Day 20

The MP helped mod a MP400 and got modded itself. First, i used several tools from MP600 donors to make a bladeless MP400. Then I decided that i didn’t need two bladeless tools, and so i removed the bottle opener (that i don’t need anyway) from my Mp600 and replaced it with the serrated blade.

I figured it made more sense for the smaller tool to be bladeless. Even less intimidating in public  ;) The saw blade is stored in the sheath with the bit kit.

Nicely done, very nice; it does make more sense to have a smaller sized Bladeless! :tu:
Are you watching/reading/listening Gerbergear/Fiskars!?!? :pok:

Looking at the picture, does the exchangers blade really hit the pliers? It appears that they'll slide next to it (maybe with a little rubbing), just like in the big brother...

Never mind ... just read your explanation.🤦‍♂️👍

Day 21

Continued work on the deck. The hail storms this year did lots of damage. Blade opened a clam shell package.

Really nice uses Sir Vic. The modified MP-600 and 400 are very cool.

And the last Pic...! Just awesome!

Day 22

Took the MP400 on a hike today. Just easier to carry, being significantly lighter. No uses though, so only a landscape shot:

Day 23

Used the blade to cut a lotion dispenser in half. The pump mechanism could no longer reach the lotion at the bottom, so i cut it, and placed it in a container. Will last for a couple more weeks  :tu:

Day 24

Tested the MP in the desert today. Well, our kind of desert  ;) The wind was blowing pretty strong today, so we were almost sandblasted. As you can imagine there was sand everywhere in the tool ( and in other places  :D )

I shook out most of it, and I am happy to report that it performed without complaint. The plier sliding mechanism worked without issues, so did the tool implements. All deployed easily. Here is a picture after i inspected it once we were back home. Only needed some running water, and it was back in shape. Pretty impressive Gerber  :tu:

Not sure why some of the pictures i posted no longer show up. Are there issues with the site again?  :dunno:

Nice pics!

This tolerance to dirt and abuse makes Gerbers be like an AK-47 of the multitools.
(My 2c)

This is why I always carry one Gerber and keep my Swisstool Spirit away from dirt, sand, motor oil and grease.

I can see why they have that reputation  :tu: Maybe next time we go there I will take the Spirit and see how it does in that environment

Day 25

Used the scissors to cut off a tag. I have been wearing this shirt over the last few months, and it never bothered me. Today it drove me crazy  :ahhh

Also used the scissors in the yard to cut some wilted blossoms.

Yeessss, I know that feeling!!! , and I'm glad you had the MP with you; I had to keep tolerating and fighting the itchiness and discomfort all day long, as on my three episodes (yes, 3, I'm late to learn ) I had no cutting tools with me.

Ooh my, already day 25; I'll be missing such nice pictures and reviews :sa:

Maybe a Vic classic on your keys would help  :D :pok: But then don’t do it like I do, and forget it is there

I think you will keep seeing pictures of this tool. I like it so much, I will just keep carrying it, even after the challenge is over  :tu:
