I just purchased a Free P4. I can't for the life of me get the pliers to lock in place. Is it me or the tool or what?

Not sure. Both of my P2 and P4 both lock solidly. There are these little levers that fall into place locking the handles in position.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles with your P4 :facepalm: I don;t have one but it may be a warranty issue unfortunately :-\

You have one of your pictures in the 2018 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year.
