I was toying with the notion of replacing my broken Canon G12 with another similar camera...but I found that my cell phone takes not bad photos.

This reminds me, I need the knifless and the Coyote versions. Might be my next "to do" whenever these last two on order arrive.

Here's my modified Rebar

Added scissors, reprofiled the pliers, awl, medium flathead and turned the can opener into a package opener

Not as fancy as others, but its the only rebar I got!

If I had nothing else to buy, coyote version would be it.

Hey CMack.  Heres my 2 Rebars.  I had some SS ones but I sold them off.

My Birthday Texas Tool Crafters GOLD.  I got this in 2013 and was so excited to get it.  I wish I would have bought a few more GOLD ones.

My BO Rebar I got from a member.  It was his military tool he brought over seas.

These will remain with me for ever.

Thanks.  I agree.  The Gold near the Black sets them both off.  I carried my gold one for a little while.  Fun story.  I was at the flea market when I spotted a Leatherman MT.  This was at a time I bought darn near every MT at the flea market I saw.  I excitedly asked him to see it and he was even more excited to tell me all about it.

He was acting as if it were a limited edition one off MT.  He told me with such excitement ( he was gonna ask a high price ) and enthusiasm it was rare.  I tried to be kind and explain I was collecting them and had quite a few ( I had about 100 at the time ) but he was not hearing me.

I asked how much as I reached into my sheath for my GOLD Rebar to show him.  He took one look at the Rebar and game over as his price was more than I paid for it.

I miss TTC.  I really should have bought a few more Gold ones.  While I like what LM is currently doing I thing they priced me out.

Of all the people he could have had come to his stall; he had you

Sadly, we don't get stuff like that over here and selling bladed articles (openly in a market) can bring you a whole world of pain  :ahhh

I don't recall seeing any for years in a flea market/car boot sale etc. (damn UK knife laws  )

They don't like it up 'em!

:'(  I feel for y'all.  Most vender I deal with now know I'm fairly knowledgeable.  There are a few hunters I "compete" with that are probably happy I'm not buying every MT I see.

I was posting about my local flea market and some cool finds.  There are some vender selling things that are illegal world wide.  I saw some serious looking authorities at a stall looking very close at some animal pelts and possible ivory items.

I've seen some stuff.  There was one guy who confronted a vender about items he believed were his.  He was telling the vender his garage was broken into and such.  Pretty intense.

I avoid some venders for such reasons.  I'm not saying they know their items are stolen but they certainly don't seem to care.  I have a few vender I've made "friends" with.  They know what I'm generally looking for and give me fair prices.

Theres a massive one up north of me called the Rose Bowl Flea Meet.  Just do a search and see this place.  I've been wanting to check it out for a long time.  Once things open back up I'm gonna head there and do two days.

I've all but stopped buying online as a result of how many cool things I find at my local one.
