Skary Skeletool October Challenge?
on: September 20, 2020, 01:47:07 AM
Not to takeaway form the Old Cross Challenge, but is there any interest in a 30 Day Skeletool Challenge in October?

With Halloween being in October and how skeletons tend to be popular Halloween decorations, I thought October could be a good month.

I know there isn’t a badge for it (yet), but maybe if there is enough interest that could be corrected.

I’ve just recently started carrying the Skeletool more often, but always with a SAK.  I looking forward to seeing how I do with just the Skeletool.

Hopefully we can draw some more interests.

My daughter had bought me the Skeletool and it has become my favorite carry.
Lots of sentimental value I imagine but also very useful.
I’d be honored to join in...

The rules are the simple challenge rules of:
- use and carry a Skeletool for 30 days.  It can be the same one all month or if you have multiple you can swap them throughout the month as long as you carry a Skeletool.
- Each day post a description of use and a picture of the Skeletool.  Pictures can be of use or glamour as long as from day of post
- Intention and challenge is to use only the Skeletool as knife and multi tool for the entire 30 days.  If there is a requirement to use another tool, just mention in daily post and say why Skeletool wasn’t suffice to for task.

Sounds interesting, but I'm afraid of the shakes and nausea I might suffer when detoxifying from carrying a full size SAK, a multitool and a knife together which has been my every day habit for a very long time.  How could I possibly cope with carrying just one? :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Ok, I'm in then  :tu:

Although, on work days it may just be glamour shots as I can only carry official issue (Surge + Lock knife)
