beets

V!agra works by enhancing nitric oxide-mediated vasodilatation.  Beets are one of the highest sources of nitric oxide.

Well played, my friend.  Well played indeed.

DAY 29

I can't believe it's the penultimate day  :o

Some fantastic shots today but only package opening from me (again)  ::)
I can't possibly use these "things" (was the proclamation from the kitchen a few days ago)  :twak:

More "things" were promptly ordered and delivered. The Skele' dutifully assisted with unpacking  :tu:

Day 29
The Skeletool helped open some Halloween candy today, but this bag is for me and maybe a little for the kids.  I like sour candy.

A funny story relating to warheads.  On one of the ships I was on, there was an old salty 1st LT who would leave a couple warheads at my seat whenever we got in a disagreement and I was right.  You were never going to hear him apologize or say he was wrong, except maybe to the Captain, so I felt pretty special when I would walk into the meeting and see a couple warheads sitting there.

Although it will still be a problem with the Classic in the Minimal SAK Challenge.

No.....the can opener in the kitchen drawer.

I have no doubts that I could use the Skele.....but it would come at the price of a torn up edge.   :-\

Powernoodle Day 29

(Image removed from quote.)
On this penultimate day of the Challenge, my opinion of the Skeletool remains unchanged.  Objectively, the Rebar is a "better" MT with more than twice the number of tools in the same 4" package and at about the same price. [The rebar is $5 more than the Skeletool on Amazon].  But subjectively, we like what we like, and there are worse things to have in your pocket than a Skeletool.  Plus, it saves you 1.6 oz. over the Rebar and has all of the basics covered.  And the Skeletool definitely prevails with its outside-opening blade, which is a big deal.  Its so much easier to access than an interior blade.  The Skeletool has earned a place in the arsenal of any serious user.

Nice observations.  I like the Skeletool more than the Rebar, primarily for, as you mention, the outside opening blade.  Having to open the Rebar to access all the tools was the one thing I did not like about it.

As much as I like the Skeletool, it just doesn’t fit my wants for a stand-alone MT.  It is nice when paired with a SAK, but then a SAK fills my needs the majority of time.  On the occasions I am wanting a plier based multitool or a SAK isn’t sufficient, I am probably more likely to grab the Spirit because it works well as a stand-alone.
