SAK main blade half stop

Hi All,

Has anyone tried giving the main blade on a SAK a half stop by grinding the back of it flat like the bottle opener on a Pioneer?  I'm assuming it would be as simple as that, but I don't think I've seen it done.  Thoughts?

Haven't heard of it, but it would make a nice safety feature. Are you going to try it?

Probably doable.
These special display knives have extra stops on several tools but not on the main blade:
