Anyone have one of these beasts?   What do you think about it?  Is it worth paying collector prices for it over the Military?

The Tatanka seems a bit big to me....

At four inches, the Military is a big folder. I love it!

But...it's a big folder.

If I think I might need a 5" knife....I'm thinking about a fixed blade.

My ¢2.  ;)

It's a big beast, but they're mighty salty $$ wise David.  I got to thinking about it, and for a big mega folder it's hard to beat an Opinel No 13!

 :iagree:

This is me as well.  I wanted one, but couldn't get over the price.  IIRC, when they were in production, Tatankas were going for around $200 at a time when a Spyderco Police was more like $100, give or take.  The best price I ever saw on one NIB was probably $160 or $165.  At the time, I still felt that was too expensive, though I kind of regret not snagging it now.
