A big thank you to Nix for a fine challenge GAW.  I learned so much and am inspired to continue to learn many of the fine knots tied here by memory.

The very best of luck to all.  It was great seeing all the knots and the wonderful "cheat sheath" RP put together.

Here is one of my favorite life-hacks:

(Image removed from quote.)

I suppose it is a half-knot finished with a 'plug splice'.

I don't recall how I learned this, but this simple 'knot' will prevent one from pulling a power plug out of an extension cord. I use it every time I use an extension cord!  :tu:
And in the same vein there is this... I don't think I can call it a knot though.

This was one of the best giveaway threads ever!  :D
I enjoyed showing my knots and trying out new ones. I think my favorite new one was the constrictor by Sos24. Fantastic knot. :salute:
So a big thank you to Nix for hosting this and to everyone who made this entertaining and educational.
And also wow! The prize pool is just mind blowing!  :like:

Vitor asked me to sent this small pumpkin to the MT.o knot team.
He carved using the sportsman.

Vitor and I want to thank mr. Nix and all other members for the awesome challenge. We spent some really nice hours learning new knots together

I really enjoyed this GAW. Once more,

THANK YOU!

to everyone who made this so much fun.

I think my favorite new knot was the Les Stroud hitch. I know I'll be using that soon. But I'm also glad to have been taught the improved Constrictor and to be reminded of the Double Davy. I'm itching t get that Double Davy out on the water.  :tu:

Wow, thank you very much. :o

I wasn't expecting this and am a bit shocked I won. I was in it for the love of knots and tying them, talking about them, never dreamed I'd win so I disn't give it much thought to which I'd choose. :ahhh

At first I was sure I'd go with the Bravo 1, but once you added the second Bravo, I wasn't sure which one I liked or would like using better, and with the addition of the Steingrass ... I'll need a minute or a few to get my head straight and let you know the final decision. :salute: A tough call indeed. Especially as I'm choosing a user, a knife I plan on using on expeditions out in the mountains.

Thank you again, Nix. You made me a happy knotter. :2tu:

Fuzztangle Day 1:

Okay, so for my first entry I have this. I like to call it the Fuzzy Bunny. It may well have a more archaic technical name, but that's irrelevant. It's got bunny ears, so sure to be a crowd pleaser or indeed a winner!

Great stuff chaps

Very happy to see enki win - He deserves it

As some of you know, not quite so much in recent years, but in the past, he was an extremely busy MTo moderator and has done an unbelievable amount of work in SAKWiki, mainly on the Wengers, and often in cahoots with ColoSwiss   :salute:
And of course is an active knot user with his caving.   :tu:

I have no idea about fixed blades - But they all looked fab - I'd would have gone for the biggest or smallest I reckon - 'Biggest is best' or 'small is beautiful'!!
Although the last one was very attractive.

Thanks again Nix - Great GAW
And.....  Gotta go and learn some of those knots!!
And.....  Check up on those two hitches on the round turn - And yes it was very similar to RF52's knot, so thanks for allowing !!
