Sounds like it might work. (Image removed from quote.)If you are getting a new Lumberjack/Walker then I don't think you should need a Cadet as well as they'll all be the same blade won't they? Anyway it's definitely one of my favourite mods and it's well worth doing. Welcome to the forum BTW.
I did something similar in 91mm for a family member. Also thought about 84mm. Is a 84mm knife with scissors difficult to come by at reasonable cost?https://imgur.com/ZIVxr10Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thats awesome! i thought of doing this. but i really appreciate the width of the compact didn't want to widen it. I've actually been able to update my scales on my compact, It now has an additional copper toothpick, 2nd pin, and soon it'll be able to fit a firefly once i order it. On top of the ordinary plus scale tools. For the 84mm scissors I have looked for a few months, finally got one on ebay.. i might have a problem i spent a bit more than i thought i would. But im determined now so i pulled on the chance of buying it.
Thanks, how thick did it end up being? Was is hard for you to find the scissors?
