Rant time. :rant:

I recently ordered a couple of things via ebay and a few days later got two "your item has been delivered" emails.  Well, they might have been delivered, but not to me!  >:(  I did my due diligence and checked my postal details were correct and that they'd not ended up with my neighbours (despite the fact I was in at the time of the "deliveries").  Contacted both sellers to let them know what had happened and both responded with "you'd best get in touch with Royal Mail then".  NO!  That's THEIR smurfing job!  It says so in Royal Mail's own guidelines.  Let's be 100% clear; in the UK if you, as a seller, employ any courier to transport goods to a client, until those goods are in the clients hands, they are still your responsibility.  The fact your chosen courier has mucked it up is NOT my problem to sort out.  :rant:

I've had that happen a few times. That feeling you get when you suddenly read "Delivered" but you have no clue where the package is, oh boy.  :poh:

I would assume you sue them, as their customer, and they have to sue the Royal Mail, as its customer.

Good luck.  As a seller you'd hope your buyer would receive their items and make sure you do everything in the event they don't  :dunno:. 

I get stressed when I'm the middle man for our friends items sent to me by flea bay.  Then when I resend them to their final destination.

Launch a claim with PayPal as well.  They are very good at returning money, whether the seller is wrong or not.

If the seller can't prove the goods were actually delivered to you then ebay should side with you, the customer and give you a refund.
