Mag-Lite batteries.

Can anyone recomend an effective battery for the Mag-Lite?
Can anyone make any comments on re-chargable batteries for a maglite?

Which maglite? What size of battery does it use?

If a AA sized one, then I'd always go with the Eneloop or the Panasonic branded Eneloops. They are the best, keep their charge well.

I second that, if you don't use your maglite on a very frequent basis, it's easy to have leaked batteries inside the maglite and completely ruin the light.  So far I haven't heard of rechargeable eneloop leaking.

Start a new thread and post a photo of the discontinued sak/mt for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Explorer SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a fixed blade for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. Start a new thread and post a photo of the leatherman (supertool, core, hacks) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Vic Spirit MT for sixty (60) consecutive days.

Not rechargable but I've had good luck with Energizer batteries in my Maglites.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.
