Still, it's a broad church I guess and I'm trying to live and let live...mostly  :D

 although it does sound a bit weird in this age of Covid <shudder>

Day 26

Lots of excellent posts all - feeling quite hungry and thirsty after looking at them all. Whisky, coffee, Red Bull, pizza, coconut, pork chops and more, quite a meal :)

That snow looks nice and cooling as it’s pretty warm here although I know the novelty wears off pretty quickly once it freezes or turns to slush.

Had 3 uses so far today, nothing that exciting but all made easier by having the outrider on hand.
Removed a tag from a shirt, made a new toe rag, opened a package with some Vic cutters which were half price on Amazon yesterday and look very useful

Outrider in the snow....something that rarely occurs here.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

A late post for Day 25. Very quiet day for the Nomad - not even letter opening and hardly glamorous pic either.

The knife is plenty pretty enough just sitting there and the sparkly lanyard adds some glamour  :)

Thanks Simon got a bit more use in over the day, all similar kinds of things. Perhaps not surprising but if there’s a SAK sitting next to you all day you find it gets used for all sorts.
SAK, versatility is thy name

Great pics, everyone!

Day 26

Early call by the Postie  :mail: - used the Rescue Tool’s awl to free colourful toothpicks, tweezers, lanyards and mini-tools fresh in from Victorinox UK (though the ordering process was a real pain - you have to add each item one by one, no rapid number change to 5.....) - wasn’t planning on getting any, but enablers!

Cool! I had the same experience (but on an different website). It took me ages to add all those items to my shopping cart and then change the amounts.
I kind of forgot to add the lanyards though :(

Not just Vic’s own site, then! Added to the pain was the log in’ don’t log in error 500 farce meant I ended up having to do it 3 times! Suppose it shows persistence (folly?) on my part at any rate! Sadly the black large tweezers weren’t available, so I’ll have a go at dying some - just to turn my Spartan PS into an onyx for a fraction of the cost

That's awesome because the Spartan PS has a nicer shield than the Onyx edition! So yours will be even cooler!

Great! I am so jealous. Just checked my order, due to arrive early February. Fingers crossed.
