Hi All. Thanks for all you kind words and best wishes. It's what makes this a great place  :hatsoff:

I'm on the road to recovery but it's been a bumpy ride and still not quite clear yet  ::)

You've all done really well with this challenge and good stuff to Bobby on his first badge  :tu:

As it's already the 7th Feb' and I'm still housebound I think I should bow out. I reckon I have at least a week of catch-up to do and I'm in no position to do so for a number of days yet  :dunno:

Thanks for for making this a great challenge and a wonderful place to be a member of. Stay safe all :salute:

I am happy that you are feeling better.  Do take care.

Great to hear the worst seems to be behind you.  :tu: Was it hard or did you get away with mild symptoms? Hopefully the latter. Take care and good recovery  :salute:

DAY 10 (Catch Up)
Ok, so thanks to awl you wonderful people  :hatsoff: I'm continuing to play catch up  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I think I know what days I'm missing so this is my offering for Day 10

It's been a cold and snowy few days here in London and I can't go too far (isolating) but here's the RT helping to break the ice on the birds water bowl before refilling. Got to look after our feathered friends  ;)

Great to see you back! :like:   The symptoms sounded pretty bad, but I trust that you are a tough cookie and would get better sooner than later  , after all I did see you haul an elephant weight of toys everyday in the batman challenge and that's no easy task. :D

Great to see you back, SurgeUK and I hope you continue to get better! Good work on the ice breaking - the bird bath I use is a stainless dog bowl, and in this weather I end having to knock a block of ice out each morning! Looks like we’ll have this cold snap for a few more days, then back to the drizzle!

Day 11 (Catch Up)

Day 2 of catch up duty and not much doing (still isolating  ::) )

So, the OHT helped open an association magazine that landed on the doormat. That has been my day  ::)

Stay safe people  :tu: :salute:

DAY 12 (Catch Up)

Not much self isolation action today in the house of Surge  ::) However, the postman did deliver my GAW, courtesy of Dexter  :mail: ( a jolly decent, damned fine, splendid chap  :hatsoff: )

The RT awl helped free the Real Steel Bushcrafter II from its packaging.

It was revealed it in awl its glory with a bonus leather sheath  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Now I just need to learn some "bushcraftering" (whatever that is  :dunno: )

I was not lucky to get away with the mild stuff. If you were to go down the list of current symptoms; I had them all. It was so much worse than last years one and left me completely floored

However, I'm on the mend with just the shortness of breath thing to contend with now  ::)

Still, others have been less fortunate than I so I'm thankful for coming out the other side  :tu:

Glad you are recovering Surge!
