Still digging the Outrider, would like to get a slide-lock version though.  But the Outrider's main blade assisted me in opening my latest SAK, the Classic:

Day 5

Added a slice of lemon to my coffee

Have you guys tried adding lemon and a teaspoon of honey to your usual black coffee? I’ve tried it and actually find it pretty good

Time to recycle the tree.  Cutting off the top to get under the 6 foot limit for collection.

Reading your post just make me realize my Outrider was an older version with slide lock, and I must have gotten it awhile ago for collection purpose.  Time to find more with the liner lock for future mod project.

That's an interesting proposal.  I am trying to cut all the carb and sugar in my diet for the month, but since I'm already having lemon water in the morning, might as well give that a try with coffee.

I was still in a holiday mood, and can't believe we are already in 2021.  I always think time flies, but for whatever reason, 2020 felt pretty sluggish and slow.

I'm a big fan of the Outrider also. I wish there was a 111mm SAK that was an Outrider plus metal file (like a 91mm Ranger, in other words), but I don't know of one.

Just curious, why would you prefer the slide lock version?

DAY 5

Today I received a delivery from UPS. I had asked for it to go to a pick-up point (due to deliveries not arriving  ::) )

However, despite it not going where it was supposed to go, the driver did at least call me, not just sod off  :tu:
Here's the awl from OHT removing the contents (Vic' cap & small pouch) from their excessive packaging  :twak:

The teddy belongs to Mrs Surge and yes; it's the Mr Bean Bear (she's had it for nearly 23 years)

This kinda reminded me about a trip I took long while ago in SE Asia, the local eatery was pretty rustic(basically was just a wooden hut by the road) and I did avoid drinking any liquid if they are not in a bottle.  Everything was fine and dandy until towards end of the day, I used the toothpick from my SAK to pick my teeth, and I had never cleared it for a godzillion years.  That very same night, my stomach taught me a lesson how important it is to keep my SAK clean, if I were to use it on food/tooth. :D

Sorry to hear that, but it does make a good story (and we all learned something from it)

Day 05

Opened an old notebook. That long small philipps is very good for that, especially when you have recessed screws.

It's weird, whenever I see your XT in action, it somehow reminds of a pregnant hog

Day 6: Tightened a loose latch with the combo tool.  It just fit in the head of the screw...close enough!

I have never really bothered with the combo tool Barry. I think I shall see what mischief I can cause with it. Can't see it's got a food preparation role though ... so screw heads are just fine
